This week has been a rainy week. Cold also but not too bad. I guess God figures we need this rain.:)
Things are well, the kids are doing good. Maiya's new word is Hello, and MINE!! I guess you figure where the mine comes in.LOL
Bailey is doing good in school, bible quizzing and piano. Adyn is learning site words in preschool.
I was thinking of doing Mother's day out for Maiya once a week for 2-4 hours, but I think I am talking myself out of it. Yah I do need breaks but I figure when she starts at the First Christian church in August I can get my break when I take classes,if the Lord wills for me to go back to school. Still praying about this. I have been asking God to lead me about this mother's day out thing, and since she would only go till May,I don't wanna start her and let her get use to one place then switch her. So with that being said,I think I will call tomorrow and tell them she will be staying with mama.It is my gut instinct and I am so glad I feel direction in this. I am just not ready. She goes to the nursery at church and that will be good for now. And she does great. Mavala ( bought it from amazon.com), has conquered the thumb sucking habit,I believe it is really knocked. We started to put a little dab on her thumb on Monday, she puked, yes puked when she got a taste of the bitterness. I hated that but every since then, she has napped without thumby and has not tried to suck her thumb yesterday or today. You are suppose to put another dab on it every 2 days. So we will see how it goes. She goes to the dentist this Friday for the first time with the boys. I told Shane he better be there for the ride. The dentist is a man and I am not so sure she will let Mr. Dentist look in her mouth with a light. I might be holding her while she screams NO!! If I feel at all she is nervous and is scared, she will be passing till she gets a little older.:)
We finally got our taxes done and so glad and thankful to God for the refund this year, when we really needed it. I hope they keep it going so it will motivate more people to adopt. So many children need homes. I am hoping to get a camera soon so I can post some pictures of the kids. I just need a good one. The one I have is suitable for ebay selling but that is about it. Speaking of selling...I got a tub full of sweet clothes and sleepers, shoes that I was gonna sell on ebay that are Maiya's,but I just feel like I don't need to now. Just hold on to them.I cannot believe she has outgrown so much stuff. Some stuff she never even wore.
Now I got this Matilda Jane hook up for Maiya.I just can't get enough of those knot dresses with the baggy ruffle pants to go under it. Oh so cute. I try to bargain shop for them on ebay. I am ready for the web site to have a sale! www.matildajaneclothing.com Check it out. They are pricy but I catch sales when I can.The knot dresses let little girls look like little girls.
I have never known that mismatched stuff could look so cute!! Well we hope to get family pictures done soon. Shane and I were talking the other day how we can't wait to go to the Dillon India Camp!! I would even like to go this year if I could. Hoping we get to take a good family vacation this year as the Fenwick Five for the first time. We want it to be special, any suggestions? Next week I turn 33 on the 18th and I think I have noticed more gray hairs.LOL. A new health kick for Shane and I,we are drinking a small can of V-8 juice everyday along with green tea also. The V8 gives me great energy too. Even Maiya takes some sips! I am starting weight watchers for myself here soon. I just wanna get healthier!! Trying to do something for me as a mom.
So glad for all the movement for adoption processing. :)Looking forward to following some families to INDIA!!
I am looking forward to going to a ladies tea tomorrow at church. It is really great what they do to help missionaries. Everyone brings a tea cup or something tea related and they raise money by auctioning them off. Plus the tables are decorated so pretty with fabulous food.:) It is free to go,you just bring a tea cup. All the tables are decorated different, so neat.
Don't forget to be the SALT of the earth that God has called you and I to be.
Until more news...tootalu.

I always love your postings Gidget! So full of life and love :) I checked out MatildaJane and it is adorable! I love those knotty dresses and the mismatched prints. They look so fun. I hope the dentist visit went well, and I can't wait to see your family photo, Fenwick Family of 5!!! Lots of love, Emily
Hope the dentist visit was okay -- if not, no worries! She can go in another few months. :o) I can't believe she stopped sucking her thumb. Amazing! I'll be waiting to see those family pictures . . .
