Birthday Bash, Little goose egg,Princess on Ice tomorrow

Well I will first start with Birthday Bash!! Today I turned the number 33!! Still going pretty good I guess.LOL I woke up to a ballon on my mailbox with a special homemade card from my dad enclosed was a little cash for some shopping.:) My friend Tah called me with a special birthday blessing over the phone. She prayed that I would have the favor of the LORD and that our family would be blessed. Another birthday blessing message from Kathy.
Then next came a sweet Happy Birthday song to me thru my voicmail from my friend Magg from the NY state!! She actually sang pretty good!!:)
The my dad took me out for a birthday lunch at cracker barrel with Adyn and Maiya. Shane was at work and Bailey in school. Then my neighbor Vicki came over to bring a gift. Totally unexpected. She is good at that though.
Then Shane gets home and tells me to go to my room. So I lay there as the sun was shining thru the window as the cool spring breeze hit my face. The thought of the Lord coming back thru the sky was in my mind and I could picture my sister in the clouds too. Beautiful.
Then Shane steps in the room and he pins this birthday girl ribbon on my shirt. Isn't that the sweetest? Then I head to the pink pretty decorated birthday table. There sit a Italian creme cake with ice cream, candles, all my family. Maiya's first mama birthday. As they all sang Happy birthday to me ,Maiya was so amazed. The cake she did LIKE!! The card was so beautiful and they picked me out a wind chime with a dog and cat on it and star bucks gift card!

Then I got to have some quality time with my grandmother who took me out to get a new dress and shoes.
Then I headed to a friends house to visit and she showed me the dress she is making for Maiya. We talked about the Lord a little, while she showed me a new HAIR DO!! Then headed home.

While I was gone...Maiya got her first knot on her head. I mean a good goose egg! But she is ok.
Tomorrow we all go to see Disney -Princess Wishes on ICE!! Our first ICE SHOW as a family!! So excited!! Gotta remember to charge the camera.

I am so blessed that God has given me another year and a wonderful family who truly loves me. I have to say I have really felt the LOVE in it all. Thankful ....just thankful to know what it is like to feel loved.

Thumb habit GONER,Truck a getter and more

First off and time to CELEBRATE...Maiya's thumb habit officially GONE!! It's been 1 whole week and Mr. Thumb is bye bye. Her first visit at the dentist went SOOOO GREAT!! First she watched Adyn and Bailey then it was her turn. She did good while I held her hand and talked to her. She got a new toothbrush and floss along with some toys!! The dentist said "What are you all doing to these kids?" LOL Bailey has teeth that are A OK and Adyn has a case of perfect mouth and little Maiya has a case of the pearly prettiest teeth too." So we left there as proud parents!
Maiya is today 22 months old. Maiya is now saying "Bailey" good and "Hello Mama"!
Shane finally got a little 4x4 truck to haul stuff around, good deal.Good price.Cute 5 speed and fun to drive. This past weekend we took my neice Lexie and our 3 to a Japansese steak house where they cook and put on a show. The kids liked it and so did we!!
Taxes still waiting on the adoption credit, they are reviewing it. They already gave us some of the refund, but they are holding the adoption credit. The tax lady didn't tell us to send in a couple things like birth certificate and expense statement, so we wait for the notice so we can send what they want. UGH.Hoping we get it soon so bills can be a goner. I know we aren't the only ones in this boat!
A birthday date is coming for me Friday with Shane,I will be 33. Climbing on up huh?
Warm weather on the way, can't wait for that 65-70 degree day with sunshine.Closets cleaned out...check.:) Thanks to Shane!! Our closet was such a mess.LOL
Camera searching, thinking on vacation,oh where can we go to have fun family time? School, still thinking.
Spring fever I definate have. This is the day that the LORD hath made,I will rejoice and be glad.

News from the Home...

This week has been a rainy week. Cold also but not too bad. I guess God figures we need this rain.:)
Things are well, the kids are doing good. Maiya's new word is Hello, and MINE!! I guess you figure where the mine comes in.LOL
Bailey is doing good in school, bible quizzing and piano. Adyn is learning site words in preschool.
I was thinking of doing Mother's day out for Maiya once a week for 2-4 hours, but I think I am talking myself out of it. Yah I do need breaks but I figure when she starts at the First Christian church in August I can get my break when I take classes,if the Lord wills for me to go back to school. Still praying about this. I have been asking God to lead me about this mother's day out thing, and since she would only go till May,I don't wanna start her and let her get use to one place then switch her. So with that being said,I think I will call tomorrow and tell them she will be staying with mama.It is my gut instinct and I am so glad I feel direction in this. I am just not ready. She goes to the nursery at church and that will be good for now. And she does great. Mavala ( bought it from amazon.com), has conquered the thumb sucking habit,I believe it is really knocked. We started to put a little dab on her thumb on Monday, she puked, yes puked when she got a taste of the bitterness. I hated that but every since then, she has napped without thumby and has not tried to suck her thumb yesterday or today. You are suppose to put another dab on it every 2 days. So we will see how it goes. She goes to the dentist this Friday for the first time with the boys. I told Shane he better be there for the ride. The dentist is a man and I am not so sure she will let Mr. Dentist look in her mouth with a light. I might be holding her while she screams NO!! If I feel at all she is nervous and is scared, she will be passing till she gets a little older.:)
We finally got our taxes done and so glad and thankful to God for the refund this year, when we really needed it. I hope they keep it going so it will motivate more people to adopt. So many children need homes. I am hoping to get a camera soon so I can post some pictures of the kids. I just need a good one. The one I have is suitable for ebay selling but that is about it. Speaking of selling...I got a tub full of sweet clothes and sleepers, shoes that I was gonna sell on ebay that are Maiya's,but I just feel like I don't need to now. Just hold on to them.I cannot believe she has outgrown so much stuff. Some stuff she never even wore.
Now I got this Matilda Jane hook up for Maiya.I just can't get enough of those knot dresses with the baggy ruffle pants to go under it. Oh so cute. I try to bargain shop for them on ebay. I am ready for the web site to have a sale! www.matildajaneclothing.com Check it out. They are pricy but I catch sales when I can.The knot dresses let little girls look like little girls.
I have never known that mismatched stuff could look so cute!! Well we hope to get family pictures done soon. Shane and I were talking the other day how we can't wait to go to the Dillon India Camp!! I would even like to go this year if I could. Hoping we get to take a good family vacation this year as the Fenwick Five for the first time. We want it to be special, any suggestions? Next week I turn 33 on the 18th and I think I have noticed more gray hairs.LOL. A new health kick for Shane and I,we are drinking a small can of V-8 juice everyday along with green tea also. The V8 gives me great energy too. Even Maiya takes some sips! I am starting weight watchers for myself here soon. I just wanna get healthier!! Trying to do something for me as a mom.
So glad for all the movement for adoption processing. :)Looking forward to following some families to INDIA!!
I am looking forward to going to a ladies tea tomorrow at church. It is really great what they do to help missionaries. Everyone brings a tea cup or something tea related and they raise money by auctioning them off. Plus the tables are decorated so pretty with fabulous food.:) It is free to go,you just bring a tea cup. All the tables are decorated different, so neat.
Don't forget to be the SALT of the earth that God has called you and I to be.
Until more news...tootalu.
