Cozy Cutie!!

Good afternoon!
I was suprised yesterday with this cute cozy picture of our daughter playing with her friends. She is the one in the orange hat, isn't she just sweet. I just wanna go get her NOW!!!
This was taken about a month ago I think from a family that just happened to take a couple shots while picking up their child, and Maiya happen to be in them. I wasn't expecting this, what a cozy cutie and I love her sweet hat!! Still waiting on scrutiny to be complete, hoping it is soon.
The Ayahs really keep these cuties snuggled and warm, how can I ever thank them enough for taking such good care of our daughter and the other sweeties?!! Have a great day!! Check out the Needham family blog... for a India t-shirt fundraiser!Congrats April on your NOC!!:)

Approvals coming thru and a doggone mess!

We just found out today that the judge has approved a case this week. So with this news; things are looking up and they hope to have some new court dates for cases set next week. Hoping our scrutiny approval comes soon...then they will set us up with a court date but we will not know when that date will be, the only thing we get is a notice after our case has been approved by the judge. Hang on Maiya we are coming soon baby girl.
On a FUNNY but aggravating note,Adyn and I come home from our morning trip and I then discover that our DOG WALLE was not in the utility room, then I notice a trail of a MESS,oh I could've whipped his hind in! I got so flustered I sent his tail out the door! Thank goodness he did not find the boys new easter outfits to be tempting and thank goodness Maiya's door was shut. Of course there is trash to be picked up,but I am thankful he did no more destroying. So needless to say our dog had a field day today. Now I have a clean up party to attend!! LOL Well have a great weekend to you all. The sun is shinning and I have spring fever and gotta go to soccer signups for Bailey.

GREAT NEWS!!

We found out this morning thru email that the judge sees NO PROBLEM with the seal issue and is being very compliant and they are hoping to start having news soon on approved cases!! All we know is that we will be notified we our case is approved. So with that being said we are very thankful and excited and the LORD has answered lots of prayers,so PRAISE goes to JESUS for moving mountains!! I can't wait to tell Shane when he calls from work!! So tonight, chicken curry is in order!! Adyn and I just got back from the store and we bought a big box of huggies little movers diapers,oh my goodness, this is really happening!! Keep praying for all of our cases to be approved soon. It would be great if we could travel with other families,if the Lord wills. Have a great day.

Preparing a Place...

Preparing a place is exactly what we have been doing here lately. As Saturday morning rolled around I was feeling tired from cleaning, excited, then more of a reality settled in my heart and my mind as I was getting ready for the shower. As I was getting things ready,Shane walked in to tell me that he and the boys was gettin ready to go to Evansville. Then he started to tell me about what he was thinkin at work the night before,he said this..." As God is preparing a mansion for us one day and we don't know when he is coming to take us home, but one day he will." Then he went on to say.."It's like how we are preparing a place here for Maiya and she has no idea, and soon we will be bringing her home." From this moment on,it was blessing after blessing. The Lord knew on this day what the desires of my heart were for this special occasion for our daughter and I. When I say desires of the heart, the main desire of my heart was for God to be glorifed in how he has lead us to our daughter and how he has provided and even for special friends that we have met. I can't put this wonderful day into words that even come close to how I felt, but I would like to give you a glimpse into this day.
Finally,my friends that were throwing it were here at our home and we took a family picture together, then out the door Shane and the boys went. They went to try to find a sled,go eat and mess around in Evansville. But keep this in mind, little did they know and little did I know what was coming later.:)
We had some great food, awesome cupcakes homemade by mammie and great punch made by Tammy. We even had a hot pink butterfly diaper cake made by aunt Reba. I even got to wear a pacifer crossage. All of the little girl's including my neices were dressed up in sweet Valentine color dresses. So sweet!! All of Maiya's gifts were perfect. Her best friend Pala Alsworth sent her a sweet glow seahorse and a bible saying book. Pala also sent her a wand and a crown!! From one princess to another!! Her wand might be used for making the boys clean up!!,HAHA. No,just kidding she will be sweet to her brothers. She even got her first bathensuit and cover up with with her name on it. My dad got her this pretty black and white damask pattern stroller that is on the way and she got her first bible and piggy bank, a walker for her and her doll. All we gotta get is some diapers and bottles and we were provided with gift cards for this. Testimonys were shared of the Lord, people laughing, people crying. The spirit of God was here, all LOVE!! Women and sweet girls left our home blessed beyond words. I was speechless, then here comes a SHOCKER!!...Shane calls and said," Hey we gotta sign papers, first thing I thought was the adoption,I though maybe Jynger called Shane because she couldn't get a hold of me!! Then I said,"DO WHAT?" Tammy said "Gidget,What's wrong???!!" My facial expression had to be hilarious!! Shane goes on to say...WE GOT A VAN,HONDA ODYSSEY!! I was like what?, how?, what about waiting till next year or the year after? Previously we have talked about getting one if the Lord wills for a long time. Shane said he felt so much peace about it and that we got a great deal! The wowing thing is that he said he did not even have this planned or in his mind,he just went to look just to pass time I guess!! We definate needed one since after Maiya comes home we would have no room for my neice or anyone and our car was already crowded with the boys! Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow. He had to call and talk to me a couple of times before I even really believed it. My boys got on the phone and said HAPPY VALENTINES,they are cleaning it up for you mamma and I love you. My family was just laughing and smiling and in shock with me. They finally got home and told me to close my eyes and come outside!! There it was in the driveway our black family van for all of us!! Everyone was so happy for us and Tammy hugged Shane and told him that he did good and so did my dad!! After all this excitement I was so tired, but very grateful! I can just about imagine right before we leave for India how excited we will be!! I won't be able to sleep! We are looking forward to hopefully a court date soon, and signed that is!! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!! Here are some snapshots, there were too many pics to post them all. Adyn is singing tonight at church for the first time by himself!! Update,Adyn did a great job singing and he sang two times and earned 4 bucks!! What a weekend!!

In the COURTS!!

Well I finally got to email our caseworker and find out a little more.
There are now six families in the courts and WE are one of them. HOORAY!! We must have entered courts the end of last week after NOC approval.
There is some future court dates ahead this month, but we don't know if our case will be presented. We are hoping that this little bump is smoothed out soon. Miracles have happened in the courts before and they can happen again!!
A good friend of mine felt we might hear some news this week so either this is it about us being in the courts or there is more good news. My stomach is in knots. HAHA, Seriously it is!!! We will see. So with that being said,I still have peace and am asking you to take time and pray for all of us. Thank you from all of our hearts.
Speaking of hearts,I am looking foward to a wonderful shower of love for our baby girl this saturday at our home. Not only gifts, but for the peace and love from our Lord to touch a life, give hope, give joy, experience love, inspire adoption to someone, and of course the list goes on.
Have a wonderful Valentines weekend to you all. I better get to bed cause my oldest goes back to school tomorrow after the snowbreak!!

Update

Ok so the plan is that ISRC and the attorney for ISRC feels confident for now that they should try to push some cases thru to see if the judge has a issue with the scrutiny office part and what they are wanting. We found out that what they are wanting is the Indian embassy seal from Washington. But this is impossible because India and the US are hague countries and another reason. Dillon is gonna be working on a gettin a letter from the Indian embassy in the mean time while they are gonna try and push thru some cases. I believe that it is possible for the judge to accept these cases that will be presented to him thru the power of God and prayer. Prayer moves mountains. I am telling you all this so you will know what prayers to pray for all of us. We hoping that the judge realizes that what they are wanting cannot be done and that he contacts them to let them know they need to stop asking for this seal and APPROVE these sweet baby cases. Be in prayer and especially on these dates...the 15th,19th,and 23rd of this month. Mark your calenders.:)

On the other hand is this, even if the judge has a problem, after Dillon gets a hold of this letter from the embassy,I think they will understand and cooperate.

Although the devil wants me to tremble,I am NOT,I will continue to stand with God and trust in his working hand leading this situation. As to my knowledge of just recent learning, Dillon and ISRC have come thru many obstacles and snares in the adoption realm and all has succeeded. Dillon is a great agency,we feel truly blessed. So to me this is good news for now and it sounds like a plan to me. We continue to hope and pray that the judge does not have a problem with this and things can hustle along.
Thanks for all your prayers and now please pray for this issue. Your support means so much to all of us.

We have got lots of snow this morning and still snowing!! It is beautiful. Now I know I will get some cleaning done around here,I am house bound since I don't adventure out in this! I am looking forward to spring. We are excited and looking forward to Maiya's baby shower on saturday then Valentines, what a sweet weekend ahead! Now I hope this snow dismisses itself for saturday. I think it is suppose to be 41 and sunny, that would be nice.Have a great week!
Rejoice in the day that the Lord has made.

... Thou shalt preserve me from trouble; Psalm 32:7
Maiya we are coming soon and we love you baby girl!!

Give me a...N-O-C,what's that spell,NOC !!

Well this morning started off great with some words from God thru a dear friend of mine,Maggie thru a text message. Maggie said some words inspired her from her calender from the Kennilworth. It said...God always acts at the right time:and if he does not act,it only means that the right time is not yet! When I got read this,I felt like something was gonna happen today, but a little part of me wasn't sure. So as I was talking to Maggie on the phone, there it was, coming right thru in big bold letters,NOC!!! Praise God.
Now for another part, the scrutiny office is wanting some kind of Indian embassy seal on certain documents before they approve any more scruitny cases. Anju has a meeting set up to find out what they want. So our case will move onto courts but it will stand still and so will all other cases waiting on scrutiny until this gets resolved!! Pray for all of our cases please and that it gets resolved quicly. To my understanding this is new and has never been requested before. I cannot worry,I can only be thankful and trust in the Lord that we will get thru this little bump!
I am dancing on clouds, wow what a wonderful week!! Thank you JESUS!!
Maiya we love you and we are coming soon.:)

Expecting Great things...

Well it is the beginning of the LOVE month FEB. I am looking forward to what this month holds in the adoption world (NOC)! We are expecting great things. Woodstock is expecting great things too...

love you woodstock!!

First I have to give GOD praise for what he has done for us this week.
The other night I was on the way to take my neice home, when my son called me and told me that daddy had fallen and to come home. I immeditely hammered down on the gas, as I was almost home...by now I am nervous and just calling on God. I get home and Shane is in the hall floor hurt so bad he was in tears. He couldn't hardly move without pain. So we immediate just started praying and calling close friends for prayer. In the meantime we tried frozen veggies,a hot bath to loose muscles, pulling it back in place ourselves.YIKES!! All while praying and just waiting on God. It was his knee, and the only wait it wouldn't hurt was if we kept it bent. So I said Shane if you want to go get x-rays I will take you. Shane said,NO,I am just hoping God will heal it. This has happened before five years ago and was worse and God healed it instantly. We kept believing and then I started to get the boys ready for bed. So about after two hours... I heard him and then seen him just praising and worshiping GOD. Then in the midst of that...I finally heard Gidget,It's gone. So Praise the LORD for healing my husband. Then we got another victory report yesterday, they told Shane's sister she had breast cancer about 3 weeks ago and they wanted to schedule surgery and then she had to go to Vanderbuilt hospital yesterday to meet with doctors and guesswhat, they said you definate do NOT have cancer. So another healing and we praise GOD. Then I also got a good report from the doctor!! We are so very thankful for all of these prayers that God has answered this week.

Preparations are making way for Maiya's shower and we are working on the boys room. They can't wait for their grizzly bear and mountain room to be done. So we have been busy as bees. Hoping that this weekend we are celebratin NOC!! Expecting GREAT THINGS!! How about you, what do you expect?:)
