In the Middle of it all....

So it has been a long while since I have blogged our life. Really not that long right? As of now...I cannot even begin to tell you how thankful and blessed I feel today. Maiya Reela is growing up and she just turned 4 on May 15th. She absolute loves her preschool and the boys are looking forward to their new school. The boys are glad it is summer and so am I. Shane and I have been on some awesome dates and now we are busy working toward moving onto our 23 acres and building a home in a few years. College is out for me for the summer, and I am so glad I made it thru College Algebra with a B!! Thanks to God and Mr. Bennett and Eva Renfro...she is the best!! This moving I did not see coming nor did my husband see it. Well actually he did see it on the bus when he was 9...everyday. This is God's direction for our lives...his plan. Since his plan is perfect, I will not doubt or ask why, we will trust and move forward. I need to get to boxing so I will continue this journey and so excited for this new life with all my family. Hopefully getting Maiya her US passport done next week so I can surrender her Indian one before October. We are in the middle of it all so I will leave you with that....looking forward to some hammock days in the sun with friends, bonfires ,swimming, camping and 4 wheeling all night long!! The kids love it all and so do we. Looking forward to Fort Wayne trip ...as Maiya says...Tilda Jane Art Fair bound!! October brings our anniversary and our first beach trip alone in the tropical!! WAHOOOOO!!!! I know you have been wondering...Yes.... Maiya says Mama...I need a sister. So we will see how things in our life unfold, but however they do, I know God is in the middle of it all right with us.

Update around the house......

So with March and spring springing up,lots of happiness in the air. School is great,work is great,and most of all.We are all happy,healthy,thankful and loving every day God gives us. Adyn has started the soccer season for the first time.He likes it:). Bailey still making those straight A's. Bailey has been thinking about trying out for basketball this year for middle school. He still plans on football this fall.
Maiya has been making big steps within this past month.She is starting full sentences,says her name so well. Sings ABC's,talks about her friends at school. She has been doing
well lately with her potty training. And for the big move,the past 3 nights she has been sleeping in her toddler bed by herself next to our bed this week. She likes it:) Kinda bittersweet. She has been right between Shane and I since Kolkata 2010. So I am the one adjustng..LOL. Some exciting news...we have a tenative trip planned for Niagra Falls and to meet up with the Alsworth family. We hope the whole family gets to meet us and us meet them all. We will be there on the 4th for fireworks.:) We hope to do the Erie Canal boat ride,and have lots of fun.Maiya talks about how she wants to play with Pala:)My camera will be busy for sure.
I hope Maiya and Pala always have a friendship across the miles:)

Spring house work and landscaping is calling....shewh....that will be fun work..LOL. Painting calling too. Well we will get to it,when we get to it. Shane has a eye appt coming up to see is he can get lasik surgery done,we find out March 27th. I turn the big 34 tomorrow:) I am still loosing weight and feeling better. I look forward to many happy times this spring and summer with my family....and for a thought,adoption has entered into my heart again...this time,I did mention to Shane,and we have decided to let the idea ponder in our hearts and wait till we hear from the Lord and our hearts that it is time for Maiya to have a sister...we want to have more financial freedom first before if it all works out. We also want Maiya to be little older going back to India.:) I have started reading a book called,No longer a Slumdog. This book is so real with true stories of hurt and victory. It brings me back to flashes of Kolkata.
Maiya having a sister is a thought,God knows I am willing to call another child our own, so willing it makes me full of JOY....Have a happy day:)We are hoping to get a family picture soon....Until more news...so happy for some Dillon movement:) So excited about the donation ISRC recieved from Dillon families too:)

My journey to health is beginning...........

Well let's say this,I so have been wanting to loose weight for some time now. It is never that I didn't feel like it,but now it is like the right time. Everything is more smoothed out this Jan. Maiya has adapted wonderful to her 3 day playdays at school. When she sees those kids she just lights up!! The boys are doing good and Adyn has adjusted to kindergarden,although some mornings he does not wanna get up!! Neither do I LOL. Shane is on straight days too.:) Which I really like.
So end of October...I started at the YMCA. So as of today,I am 20 pounds lighter. I still got a ways,a goal I want to meet. I don't wanna be a supermodel,as that is not a priority to me.I just wanna be healthy for me and my family. Plus,I need ENERGY! Now I have the energy,school is not stressing me out like I first thought. I try to get my work down at night or on lunch so I don't have to take away from my family time. Work part time is good. Shane likes to get that alone daddy time with the kids. It really is a good balance for us. Although there are a few things I feel I am lacking at times. I know I am not superwoman though. Too bad,huh? LOL
I try to hit the y 3 days a week sometimes 4,and I am eating about 1200 calories a day,incooperating hot grren tea 2 times a day. Try this tea,it is so relaxing and make sure it is organic....Have a great weekend...and try to find time to feel energized...for you,for your spouse,for your kids. All worth it,I am glad I have made a life change for my health:) Follow me along as I journal this journey with pictures and updates to help keep me going...maybe it will help someone else too. When I have reached my goal...I will tell you my starting weight to my finish!!!!!

Well Shopping day the 1st one,went great. We took all 3 sweeties to the BIG toy store.Were they shopped. Then we took a nice Nagasaki Japanese lunch break.Then time to shop for clothes!! They all did great,and we all had a great time. Then 2 days later Shane and I have a ALL day date with lunch,starbucks,dinner all the works!! We had a great time away together.:)Here all some recent picture for you to enjoy!! I cannot believe today is the first day of the calender year~.:)
