Well yesterday marked 11 months waiting for the referral of our daughter Maiya and the expiration of our Home Study. We are in the process of trying to get our education classes completed. The next step is our referral call of our daughter which we have no control over. This is what we are waiting on now.
In the meantime I am thinking ahead. After this we will then sign our name like 400 or so times and send in the acceptance packet. While this is going on we will be getting our home study updated. When all paperwork is updated when then file for NOC. We have got our medicals updated, our friends have our reference letters ready and the bank is prepared that we will call when we need a update. I think we will have to update our background checks also. I am gonna try to call and get the forms sent to us today so we can go ahead and get them started. Hopefully all will go well and be easy flow for the updates. Can you tell that I am trying to prepare for the call?:) I don't want to have lots to do when we do get the wonderful call. Please keep our Maiya and the CAll in your prayers. We have been praying for clarity and peace so we will know it is Maiya. We are believing for a miracle referral. We are praying that Maiya will be a healthy, happy and beautiful baby that will bring joy all around. The bible says to Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and he will give you the desires of your heart. This is what we are standing on!! I am so happy for all the babies that are being picked up this month:).Wishing safe and happy travels to Amy, Colleen, and Sara.
DREAMING AGAIN.....
Oh and I gotta jot this dream down that I had on this past Tuesday night. I dreamed that Shane and I were standing in the orphanage looking for Maiya and we found her and we walked over to her crib and Shane told me to go ahead first. So as he stood there smiling,I could see tears rolling down my face as my arm slowly reaches in her crib and grab her hand. I picked her up and held her so tight. She knew I was her mommy. What I was feeling in my heart was a miracle just beginning. She was smiling so beautiful. In every dream that I have had about my daughter she has been smiling. This tells me that she will be a happy photogenic baby. You may not understand why I always have to keep a record of these dreams, but this is special to me and you will understand later. I cannot miss a dream. I feel that the Lord is showing me things. Maggie,I know you understand why:).
As far as the boys,Adyn completed three yr old preschool yesterday. Friday is his Carnival Day for his class,he is excited, that reminds me I gotta get chips for his class. His teachers have been wonderful. He says all the time that he loves his teachers. Just maybe kindgarden next year will be good and he will like it and not cling and scream every morning:)!
Bailey has a exciting summer planned. A week in June he will be going to church camp with his friend Calob. July he has a fun filled week of kicking in soccer camp. He has only eleven days in second grade left. Bailey is getting so tall. The boys are growing like weeds!!
We are hoping to take some little trips as a family and have fun with the boys, maybe the zoo, amusement parks, fishing and just more simple things. I am looking forward to this summer with my 3 muskateers,Shane and the boys. This will be the last summer without Maiya. Next year she will be going on vacation with us!! I can't wait. My aunt and uncle Betty and Johnny came over last night and she just loved Maiya's room....glad we got that done!! We just lack some crown molding. Well I think that is about it for updates all around. Oh I almost forgot,we planted our first garden this year. Now if I could just keep the boys out of the mud....Have a great day...until more news, Gidget:)

I can't believe summer vacation is here all ready. Sounds like between adoption details and some fun outings you will continue to have a full schedule. Hope your good news call comes soon!

Thanks for the update. It is always good to stay one step ahead of the wait game on our end. I figure keep up to date on all the things we can do on our end and let God take care of the rest. Hoping you get the call for you precious Maiya soon. How fun it will be next summer when our girls are finally home.
To make the wait go faster, we tried to think of things to do with our sons that would be a lot harder with a 1-year-old along. :o) We camped, took a trip to Chicago, and found lots of fun ways to occupy our time. Sounds like your summer will fly by!
