Are my nerves made of steel?

Well I have been curious if any more referrals might be slipping thru this spring and I finally had the NERVE to email Tami and just find out if there might be a slight chance for me to have my hopes up at good news soon. Sadly to say since there have been a few referrals come thru,it is not likely that anytime soon there will be more referrals. Tami just told us to prepare ourselves for atleast a year from Dossier submission or more. She said it would probally be a few months before anything happens. Even if there is more babies going out around summer, there of course is no way of knowing if our Maiya will be in the mix. So with that being said I guess you could say that in all honesty I am somewhat disappointed and discouraged a little and I hope these feelings go away quick!! I need to just enjoy what I am blessed with for now -and that is life itself with a great husband and two wonderful boys and so much more. I need to trust that God is taking us to "Maiya", and that the plan will be just right. I opened my bible to this exact verse earlier before I recieved this news today:
PSALM 37:3-5, Trust in the Lord, and do good;so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Trust is what we will have to do, and I will walk by faith even when I cannot see.

Maiya,We love you and we look forward to seeing your precious face.
Love,Your Forever Family.

Gidget, just prepare for that one year wait and then hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised with a referral before that. At least it worked for me :) I know it is difficult and I really pray that you have peace during these next few months. Enjoying this time with your family sounds like a great way to pass the time.

praying for you! I also love the verse from Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Sorry that you did not hear the news you had hoped to hear. Patience is so very difficult with this process some times.
